Shyamrai/Panch Chura temple, Bishnupur
By amukherjee on May 02, 2012. Gallery: West Bengal.
This temple, built by the Malla king Raghunath Singha in AD 1643, is the best example in brick of the Panchratna type i.e. five shikharas on a curved Bengal chala roof. Its terracotta panels are also noteworthy.

Ali-Monbeam says: That is really interesting, I have not seen one like that before, it also looks as if its hardly weathered.
Thanks for showing this.
