Pushkar

I recgonize the temple on top as the one in Pushkar. As I remember the story behind it well, it was a save heaven in the past for women who didn't commit sati.

Joph, The hill with temple in the photo is immediately north of the town. The Savitri temple, for Brahma's wife, is on a larger hill south-west of Pushkar. I walked to the latter place but climbed only a short way up.

The temple shown here is probably for Gayatri, Brahma's second consort. Ratnagiri hill has the temple for Brahma's first wife, Savitri.
