Kids, Mandu

Some passing girls outside my guesthouse room (that door and little verandah within it must have been mine) in Mandu asked to have their pic taken.

This was in the (excellent, to my taste) Panchayat (village council)-run Rest House (sign is in Hindi, but those two words are in English); paid some Rs. 150 for a simple but cosy and comfortable little room to myself, in March 2009. Friendliest of staff.

It's right by the bus stand, such as it is; that is to say by the little village square, such as it is, where the buses halt. Right next to the (disfunctional, but well-kept) Jama Masjid (that your room opens up to) & that group of monuments.
