These are the Kempty Falls. They are 15 km away from Mussoorie, and they are the biggest attraction of that area. The water goes down from an altitude of 4,500 feet. It splits into 5 cascades. The place was developed into a tourist area after 1835 by John Mekinan. Kempty came from "camp-tea", because the British would organize tea parties there. The water falls from a height of 40 feet. There is a 'pond' at the foot of falls that people go in, the water is cold, and people put bottles of drinks in it so they can cool.
