Yup. Jaisalmer is one of my favorite places. We stayed overnight in the desert, courtesy of the Desert Moon guesthouse, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I had a hard drive crash and lost all my pics ... :(

That is a total nightmare. I hope you back them up nowadays.

Sort of ... I bought a much, much bigger solid state SD card that doesn't need to be backed up. I also travel with a laptop now, and download the images to it every now and then just as a backup. Yes, I was extremely disappointed to have lost my images. Oh well, I guess it gives me another reason to go back to India and Jaisalmer.
