The hills of Bhutan seen from the helicopter, whilst flying down from Tawang to Guwahati in spring 2009. The Pawan Hans helicopter flights are no longer operational. We had a good, if somewhat misty, view of the scenery below us. The flight was rapid and the pilot talked us through it. He was a bit worrying initially, when we departed in heavy fog, saying "I think we can make it"...
