Amina a 3 year old living in Colombo Sri Lanka can speak 4 languages - English, Sinalese, Tamil & Malay.
She was of Malay or Malaysian descent. 350 years ago the English recruited thousands of Malaysians to come and support the British forces to drive the Portuguese out of Sri Lanka.The All in the name of spices. They were Mercenary soldiers. When the Portuguese left the Malaysians who are Moslems stayed.
