This temple is in a very small town named Bansberia in West Bangal, on the Howrah-Katwa rail route. The construction work got started in 1801 by Nrishinghadeb Roy and was completed by his widow Shankari Devi in 1814. The architectural style of this temple is distinctively different from the other temples found in this part of the country.
