But yes , it´s steep. 2000 meters in less than 200 km´s.
Xining is the halfway point of the 4064 km´ track. ( I had two sets of data , one from just beyond Golmud, working out the other set I gave the distances negative numbers , too much work recalculating the whole set. So the large dividers are thousand klicks.)
