Stayed here in October 2010 for a few days in the room at the top with fantastic views. We only intended to stay a day or so but ended up staying on just because of the unbelievable view over the (full) lake to the City Palace and, the other way, up to the Monsoon Palace.

I stayed in this hotel twice already and can only recommend it as it is one of the top-located hotels in Udaipur at the waterfront and only a short walk from the City Palace. This hotel is a good choice. Most rooms have excellent views of the lake and the Lake Palace and balconies. Some balconies are enclosed.
