Stayed there in Feb 08. First night (straight off the plane from Australia) they put us in a 'new room', right at the back, downstairs, right next to the staff area. Good clean, spacious, airy, rooms. Not a lot of character but quiet and freshly painted. Enough space and furnishings to spread yourself around comfortably.
Decent breakfasts and meals served in the coffee shop and restaurant.
