When we came we got a free lunch, cause the had just had a pryaer meeting or something. We stayed there over christmas, they are very christmas minded - one night they held a "christmas party" where a choir sang christmas charols. There were chips and cake ect. It really got me in the right x-mas spirit! You also meet a lot of fellow travellers there. The only bad thing was that the trash can wasn't in the room bur outside in the hall way - that was kind of annoying. So one night we took it into the room - and that night a couple of rats came to visit. So leave the trash can in the hall!. There are both dorm rooms and "normal" rooms. We stayed in the girls dorm room - 135 rp. per night. Attached bathroom to the dorm. You can buy soft drinks and and rent a security box. Plus they let us hang out there for like whole day after we checked out - using the bathroom ect. Salvation Army Red Shield Hostel Mumbai (Bombay) Rates and Room Information
We payed 135 for a dorm room in the high season (christams)

And most of the cab drivers in the CST ... read more »
