In Jodhpur, near the city police station there is a family run guest house. SAJI SANWRI. Very nice jaïn people and very atmosphere. We were two and we payed last year 222 rps a day (221 + 1 for luck the next day). kindness and smiles from the family. home made paintings on the wall. a private salon, 5m2, with a door to lavatory. a bedroom, king bed and fan. a small bathroom inside with sin and shower. a rooftop where it is perfect to have your meals (good cook). A lot of others rooms cheaper and more expensive are available in this big house. Give a call or send a mail !. The Pokar restaurant is simple but offer a nice gujaratu thal. What a shit hotel??! The owner failed to pick me up at the bus stop while I have send several emails to reconfirm this service. Very very disappointing that this hotel even makes it into the Lonely Planet or onto the website. Charming but not well kept guesthouse

This place obviously has potential, since its in a charming building. But its not all positive. The guidebooks said this place was run by a nice lady, but when we were there (july 2008), there was only a young guy (her son). We had booked by phone, and asked for two ac rooms. Awesome place to stay, Indu and Lakesh were fantastic hosts and would bend over backwards to help or give you information.
