We just came back from Kerala and the 3 days in Rose Gardens was definitely the highlight of our trip. We stayed there over Christmas of 2009, with cake and fireworks to mark the night. My wife and I stayed for only day here in January 2009, but we had a really good time with Tomy and his lovely family - their hospitality was unbeatable. great stay in munnar
We stayed at Tomy's place in December, right after Xmas. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anybody. Tomy arranged for a taxi which picked us up from the Cochin Airport - it's a nice 3-hrs drive to Munnar. Rose Gardens Homestay is 12 km from Munnar, on the main road. It is a nice, very clean house. We stayed at Rose Gardens during mid May and had a great time there, we felt very welcomed and the room was clean, safe and nice (if somewhat basic).
