About a kilometre away from the Mall at Manali, a quiet, unpretentious, "value for money" place. Reasonably good view of the mountains, has a small garden. Restaurant ROHTANG MANALSU Rates and Room Information
0 Avoid the cheapest rooms (600 offseason), they are due for renovation as of March 2009. The reasonably priced rooms at 1000+ (offseason) Rs are newly renovated and clean. Hot water (geyser in bathroom), small room heater. TV, phone.

Rohtag Manalsu..... awesome experience, Staff behavior was too good. When we reached there they gave us room in old building first floor (We stayed there from 29th Jan 2012 to 3rd Feb 2012), it was really chilly.Night temp dropped to -3 (As per accu-weather). Comfortable with good food.

We had 4-bed room in B-wing. Room was spacious with certain old world charm-wooden floor, ceilings etc.But furnishings were old.
Food was pretty good (in summer guests are under MAP: breakfast and dinner included). Food very home-like but pure veg.

Rightly said. Please avoid rooms which are old and cheaper. they stink with uncleaned carpets and your can find many insects. I booked them through HPTDC, Mandi fearing that it will be difficult to find rooms in season. But the scene is different. You can find uch much better rooms for far lesser rent. ... read more »
