An old fashioned, cheap, noisy hotel

I stayed in a family room because I wanted the balcony. The room was huge. The beds super hard, I stacked two actresses together plus used extra blankets for padding. The street noise dies down at night but lots of noise from the hallway all night long. Nothing like cricket matches on your eighbors TV at 2 in the morning.
