While approaching Devka beach, you would realize that there are hotels on both sides of the road. Obviously, the hotels that have the beach view are costlier than those on the opposite side. The good thing about hotel jazira is that its cheapest of the hotels overlooking the beach. the non-a/c room costs about 1000/- and the a/c deluxe room costs about 1500/-. you could try bargaining. it worked for me. the hotel's restaurant is nicely set overlooking the devka beach. the beach is not crowded at all and the water current is also not that powerful. the hotel is also located away from the main city, another reason why its very sparsely populated. the food however, is a let down. i can't comment about non-veg since i am a vegetarian.
