We stayed here on our way to North Sikkim and again on our return. It is a super address, not expensive (we haggled because they had construction work going on, hotel improvements) in Spring 2006. The staff were delightful. One of the young men who served us chai also gave us Easter gifts! They also assisted us with finding our way around town and to the internet cafe just down the road. For food, we did not try at the hotel (because of the dust due to the hotel improvements) but ate at the nearby Tangerine restaurant at the Chumbi Residency hotel (absolutely divine). This is a gem of a place. I would definitely go there again.
