I loved it!
Overall:
Location:
Staff:
Cleanliness:
Positives: Cleanliness, smiley hassle free staff, efficient, free baggage holding
Negatives: None whatsoever
I loved my stay at Arya Niwas and it surprises me that it is a two star hotel. The first thing that struck me was the staff are always smiling and happy to help. The whole place is spotless and furnished with beautiful artwork. I loved the bowls of water with floating petals and flower outside every room.
The room was perfect- we got an AC Double and we were glad we could turn it off as it gold a little chilly. The fans were great and my favourite bit about the room was that the bathroom had a ceiling fan too! The room had a safe and as we had a padlock we used the 'tijori' in the room to lock away our belongings when out and about.
The restaurant was good and I would recommend the samosas! The hotel has a business centre where you can use the internet at a reasonable rate.
The staff were friendly but not pushing their services- I find it offputting when hotels put pressure on you to use their drivers and such. Arya Niwas's Tourist Information service is great- they found a full day bus tour which was fabulous and we made many friends and our guide was really good.
Overall Arya Niwas made our trip to Jaipur and memorable experience and if I return I will stay there again.
