Negatives: Hotel is right on main road and blaring traffic noise 24-hrs/day is unbearable
I picked this hotel off the net as it seemed to get some good reviews. The hotel itself is fine - not a catastrophe, but nothing to write home about, either. It was relatively clean, though there were roaches in the bathroom. Strangely, they seem to serve very few of the items on their room service menu and their only explanation was, "We have to change the menu." Maybe the rooms that do not face the main road are quieter, but the rooms facing the road are absolutely unbearable, and it is worst at night due to the truck traffic and their constant honking. My friend didn't sleep a wink, and I hardly slept at all, despite both earplugs and a pillow over my head. If this hotel were situated somewhere off the road it would be ok, but our night there was one of the worst I have had while living in India.
