Positives: location cleanliness..and the name SITA
arrived in Varanasi just before Holi and the guest houses vwere full, walking along the ghats saw the inspiring name SITA and it looked so clean (none of the others did)luckily there was the lovely room 402 waiting for me. The only problem may be that it is so lovely up there that you don't want to go out.Anyway all the great spots are so close, both the powerful burning ghats are at a perfect walking distance, and all the other main attractions. As Holi came I caught a sudden flu, I could just lay in bed and could see the whole festival the colours coming so close to my bed!!.
