I would consider taking another...

Overall:

Positives: Great rooms, great location, great service
Negatives: None

I would consider taking another trip to Jaisalmer just to relax at these set of hotels (they are a string of guesthouses designed like heritage hotels, all owned by brothers). This is probably the nicest budget hotel I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at many in Europe and India... finally, someone gets that it doesn't take anything special, just a nice/clean place with some character and an aura of relaxation. At the main hotel is the nice upper-deck restaurant which is a great setting (though the food is not so great), but on the roofs of the other hotels are equally nice relaxing spots which are maybe even better because they're not heavily populated. The room rates vary... we got the cheapest at Rs 350 for a double without windows and with a shared bathroom... but it was a nice room, and we were only sharing the bathroom with 2 other rooms. Everyone is friendly and relaxed, which is very nice. I assume that you are expected to get a camel safari as at all of the hotels in Jaisalmer (as we did, a sunrise one which apparently is better than the sunset because you'll hardly see anyone else around), and apparently they have their own semi-remote area they do their safaris in because of their connections (apparently the other main area gets very crowded, and it made a big difference that we felt like we were really in the open/empty desert). And the staff is nice... the young guy who was the caretaker at our hotel was particularly friendly. Overall, a high recommendation.
