They seem to have fixed the swimming pool problem. Non-Veg restaurant service on the cusp between quirky and dire. There are probably better deals available in town but this hotel reliably makes par, in quality, value for money and standard of accommodation. The LP advice to ask for a temple view room may be a tad ironic but the nightscapes from these rooms make for dramatic snaps. In short a reliable fallback and much better value than the posher, luxury hotel in town which prices and caters for rich tour groups charging 'cheap for european' prices eg 230/- for a beer.
