I have stayed at Sita Guest House twice. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good look at the ghats. This is one of the most remarkable places on earth.
There are rooms for every budget. The location is great. Probably the best of all the guest houses on the river front. You'll have to put up with the noise of pilgrims praying and the commotion of life on the ghats. But it is well worth it. Any you won't hear any traffic noise. Not a motor in earshot.
There is nothing like sitting on the balcony in one of the river front rooms overlooking the Ganges. The view from the restaurant is spectacular.
Oh, and one last thing: the proprietor, Mr Sharma, is a real gentleman.
