Yes, its a very steep hill climb, you cannot go up and come down alot, if you think you have left something in your room, while you are downtown, forget to pick it up from your room and come down in a minute....and after the climb.... obviously the view would have to compensate it, or else nothing else is extra-ordinary. There are other hotels of a similar type before the climb on the other side. Seeing the review here at IM, I thought to take my chances, hard beds, dampness et al, true to the reviews and the owner has not changed them, basic maintenance of a hotel.But for the price in that immediate locality there isnt a better deal. Just Ckeck-out other places before going there.
