Umaid Bhawan, along with Hotel Fifu in Jaisalmer, were our two favorite hotels in all of India. The outside of the hotel is just as beautiful as the inside. THere are several sitting areas on different floors to relax and read a book or just simply enjoy the escape from the craze of Jaipur. Rooms are really nicely decorated, spacious, and have their own balcony. The rooftop restaurant serves really good food. Also, just down the street is a cute and cheap grocery store that is very convenient. We highly recommend this hotel.
