I stayed there end of February and liked the very friendly family atmosphere. The food is very tasty. They work on a no-commission basis, which has to be supported.
The son, Jitu, proposes ecofriendly tours, if you are interested. I found these tours more interesting than the ones in Jaisalmer, because there is more wildlife in that area and the people you visit in the villages are really friendly and keen to show you everything and to explain the way they live. And Jitu knows a lot about fauna and flora because he studied zoology.
Prices are 200 to 400 rupees for double room (with attached bathroom) and 100-120 for single (common bathroom), all very clean. I had a very nice stay and would highly recommend it.
