Positives: Good value-for-money. Friendly, hassle-free staff. Great camel-safari.
Negatives: Cannot think of any..
1. Truly the best value hotel we stayed in in the whole of Rajasthan.
2. Great camel-safari in a region exclusively licensed to this hotel.
3. Good, kind staff consisting of a.o. old father and his two kind sons.
4. Only a few minutes walking from the fort entrance through the main shopping street and the main havelis.
5. Good hot shower, but you will however have to ask for it, because one of the staff-members then lites the firewood for the heater!
I got angry with one of the boys working there for kicking one of the pups (but the pup indeed is somewhat vicious to the other pups in the litter) walking around. The sons and especially the father are kind to the pups though..
They arranged a sleeper to Jodphur via Hanuman Travels, but we ended up with three more people on our berth because the damn driver kept stuffing the bus with local people (to fill his own pockets probably). We greatly disliked Hanuman Travels! If you have to travel via Hanuman Travels, get a normal seat, not a sleeper.
