I had a wonderful time staying...
Overall:
Staff:
Positives: Central but quiet, beautiful house and wonderful hospitality
Negatives: A swimming pool would be a great addition
I had a wonderful time staying at Le Royale. It is a splendid house with every comfort. My hosts Jenny and Jose couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Jenny spoilt me rotten whilst I was there, feeding me constantly with incredible food (including Keralan fish and I didn't think I liked fish!) and arranging my onward travel and accommodation - she managed to get me discounts on hotel tariffs and breakfast included. I felt like I was staying with family despite being so far from home. After I left Jennys she kept in touch to see if I was ok and offered to help with ongoing travel etc. I have been back in the UK less than a week and already I am missing Jenny and her family. If you want a home from home then Le Royale is a must whilst in Cochin.
