We stayed at Camilsons cheapest...
Overall:
Positives: Location, price
Negatives: Cold water only, no cleaning, dirty
We stayed at Camilsons cheapest block (RS 600) rooms in mid Feb 2006. The room was very small and the bathroom was run down, only cold water shower. The location is excellent, right on the beach. This means that you will drag in sand - a lot of sand. Since they don?t clean the room daily (they never cleaned it during our 4 night stay), or facilitate any broom or other equipment for self cleaning we had sand everywhere after two days, in the bed, bathrooms, etc. The toilet stopped working just as my stomach did the same, not nice. We found a bucket to use for flushing.
All in all ? good price and nice location, but too primitive for me. They have better rooms with hot water but those starts at RS 1000 ? 1500 and are often fully booked by long term staying retired people from Europe.
