Negatives: Filthy room and very noisy hotel
I stayed here in November 05 and hated it - changed to the Star Deluxe for the rest of my stays in Delhi.
The bed was made up with dirty sheets which were also torn and had cigarette burn holes in them, and the bathroom was revolting, doubt it had been cleaned in weeks, let alone prior to my checking in.
If I hadn't arrived at 2am I would have changed hotels, as it was I couldn't sleep (too noisy) or shower (figured I'd get dirtier).
I've stayed in cheaper hotels in Paharganj which were of a better quality so it's not just a "cheap hotel" issue.
However - the Star Deluxe (across from the Metropolis) is excellent and not much more expensive. It's owned by the same people but obviously run to a different standard. I'd highly recommend the Star Deluxe instead :)
