Positives: Great Location and View on the front side
Negatives: Lousy view on the rooms facing the rear.
Well if you can afford a fivestar hotel, Viceroy is as good as any. Its key advantage is it is located spot on the Tank Bund road. which is between both the citiies of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Any other place is just a 20-30 minute drive. I have never been to its bar, but the coffee shop and restaurant are okay.
The frontside of the hotel looks over the vast Hussain Sagar lake so naturally the room views on that side are good. However one side of the hotel has a huge apartment complex (also owned by the hotel owner) and the rear side is an underdeveloped area. Not much of a 'view' there.
The Hotel is 15 min away from both the Secunderabad and Hyderabad Railway station as well as the existing Begumpet Airport
