jas vilas - a wonderful experience

we stayed at jas vilas for 4 days at the end of a 5 week trip in early december and had a great time. i agree with everything said already about the excellent standard of accommodation, food and service. the welcoming atmosphere provided by lily, mahendra, the rest of the family and staff make this a special place to stay.

i am going to a sikh wedding in a couple of months time, and wanted to buy an appropriate outfit in jaipur. lily not only advised me as to what would be suitable, but gave up her time to take me to her personal tailors where i chose material for a salwar kameez - this was delivered to the hotel a couple of days later and was perfect.

we spent our evenings chatting with mahendra and lily around the pool planning our next cultural/shopping trip before sampling the wonderful home cooked food.

all in all jas vilas was a special experience - more like staying in a private home than a hotel.

i'm sure we'll be back before too long
