Booked a room two weeks in advance...

booked a room two weeks in advance and re-confirmed it about four to five days before i started. and On reaching the hotel, I find out that the idiot who was dealing on the email reserved my room for a 9.00pm check in the previous day! instead of 9.00am on the day i arrived. How can anyone get confused when I gave my train number and arrival time of the train too?

All rooms were full and I was told to wait till 12.00pm check out time to see if any rooms get vacated. Not fancying a two hour wait, I had them call other hotels up and settled for the Star View Hotel where the room was 600 for a double AC.

Somehow i think these guys are 'oversold' - there are dozens of other hotels and rooms selling at a cheaper rate than starparadise and offer similar facilities if not better.
