The Pink House is a 17 room guest house right in the heart of Mcleod Ganj, yet hidden away from the noisy main market on the side of a hill, facing the beautiful Dhauladar mountains. It is run by two brothers, Javid and Showkat, who keep an incredibly friendly atmosphere with a very helpful staff. They have rooftop cafe and a small office/lounge where guests can hang out, chat, surf the web, and trade stories. The rooms are clean, with private bathrooms and balconies from which to view the gorgeous mountainside or local monkeys. Stayed here for 10 days in Dec 2008.
Javid and Showkat - the Kashmiri brothers who own the place are very friendly and make delicious food.
The rooms are simple, clean and well-ventilated.
They have a TV, a balcony, and a geyser.
A room-heater is provided for Rs.50 extra(per day).
