Quiet location with clear views across fields to Stok Khangri. Nice gardens and vegetable patch, old guest house has charm. Clean enough. Disliked the sharp practice of the manager trying to charge me different prices to what he'd quoted me when I arrived. He claimed that 150 was for a single room in the guest house (and guess what, I was travelling alone. even more confusing). Laundry came back completely un-ironed, lack of hot water in October (with long waits for bucket hot water) is a definite negative. Roof top restaurant. Non-functioning hot showers. 500 for hotel, 150 for guest house, though the manager told me 400 for the hotel when I arrived and tried to charge me 400 for the guest house when I checked out - he claimed I didn't hear him correctly
