Located amidst Deodar trees, it offers fantastic views of Kinnaur Kailash range.
Be if from the balcony or terrace the view is too good during anytime of the day but specially during Sunrise and Sunset.
Trek to Chakka Pastures can be done from just beside the dinning hall it self in the top floor :)

I stayed here for 2 days and loved every minute of it.
Hotel is situated in a terrific location.
One side is the valley with Baspa flowing through it and on the other side Kinnaur Kailash ranges.
From the balcony/room one can spend hours just by watching the valley and flowing Baspa. If lucky will get to see snow capped ... read more »

The Hatu is located on an elevation about 1/2km from the Narkanda high street. It is surrounded by coniferous forest, peaceful, with great views, and a small lawn in front. We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2008. We paid 600 Rs. and got a huge double room that also included a table with a sofa and chairs around it.
