Acceptable small hotel ( rather than someone's house) with rooms with attached bath, hot water & TV in the old quater of Panaji. Looked at "Alphonso's" ( LP recommended) which was nice, but someone should tell them that 800rs is TOO much ! ( current LP says it's 4-500rs). Orav's served us well ( Good sized double) and the staff are friendly. It's a bit grubby, but compared to some in Panaji, it is perfectly OK. Had a nice balcony too which had nice sunshine in the morning. It's fine if you're not looking to spend a fortune. As usualy, the upper rooms are nicer to have.
