One hotel deserves a special mention, the Manjeet Hotel in Bhopal. I sent an e-mail to them asking for their tarrif, and they replied. I then sent an e-mail booking the room and they sent an e-mail confirming my booking. Two weeks before my arrival, I sent an e-mail reconfirming my booking.

Yes,the staff try to sell you on excurtions.....but welcome to India.

In October 2007, it was a season with plenty of little black insects, harmless, but billons of them as soon as the sun sets.
Sri Mahant was a place without, 'cose they have red light on the terrasse which they don't like :)

Spend 2 nights at Nov 2009. Rooms are simple, but clean and have hot water and cable TV. Location is very central and a common balcony let you watch everydays life.
