This hotel was not our first choice. Kottayam was the first town for our trip, we stayed there in December 2008. We selected Vembanad Lake resort as the place to stay. The only cottage that was available was damp and the manager was reluctant to rent it to us. So we decided to go to the nearby Hotel Aida.
