This is not on the beach or on the road. Nearest landmark is the lighthouse & you will need to walk thru narrow alleys for 5 mins to reach this place. If luggage is too much, porters will be needed.
Swimming pool is well maintained & restaurant is very good with neat & clean kitchen.

We spent three nights here in October 2012. The room and attached bathroom were large, comfortable and absolutely spotless. Probably the best nad cleanest hotel room we have had in four visits to India.

I was there in September 2011, following the fabulous recommendations here. Reservation worked well by phone, they speak good English. I reserved an upstairs, the costlier version of what they offer. I stayed at Saj in Jan 2012 and would not hesitate to stay there again. the staff went out of their way to help with any request. I had tried to book at Beena's but they were booked out. I'm glad. Stayed 5 nights with Hyacinth at Ezhara and loved it. Hyacinth is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble. The house is 100+ years old and a quirky tent on the top of the house adds to the ambience of the place.
