I arrived at 5.30 in the morning. I was dumped in the centre of town and this was all that was open. It was 150 rupees for the room. Big front room on the very quiet street. Non tourist season, so very relaxing.

This is one of the nicer hotels at Varkala. The staff was very attentive and the room immaculate, with comfier beds than one normally finds in India. We loved our stay at the Vintage Inn. The room was immaculate and the owners went out of their way to make us feel at home. We spent five nights in this hotel which is well-located for the various sites of Kochi.
