There are several floors to this guesthouse (including basement, where the rooms are apparently more upper-range). You really cannot find fault with this place, they have been in existence for so long and they know how to cater towards backpackers. But having said that, it is that very fact I doubt I will stay there again. It is good if you are homesick or those nostalgic travellers that enjoy only interacting with your other travellers. Otherwise I find the enviornment too 'artificial 'and at times you forget you are in India. Oh, I must say I had very bad service. I stood at the reception desk for half an hour (and asked to wait) before I was served. There weren't other guests waiting to check in. A large range of rooms from dorm-style rooms, to single/double attached or not bathrooms. . Internet (expensive, 40 rupees per half hour). . There is a shop selling tourist kind of souvenirs and behind the reception counter they sell essentials such as batteries, mosquito cream etc.. . A library of books with a lounge area. . Two eating areas (a casual cafe on the ground floor and a roof-top restaurant - with nice views) Inn Jaipur Rates and Room Information
Nov 04, paid about 150 rupees for a single non-AC room (w/out attached bathroom). If you look on the website, the rates there seem to only be for those more luxurious rooms with AC and attached bathrooms. But there are rooms to cater travellers of any budget.

I stopped here on the way to Udipar. It was my second day in india and after a frightening train ride we took refuge here for a couple hours before hopping on a buss to Udipar. I found this place extreamly comforting for a new arivee to india. There were many travelers there, people and staff seemed helpful and friendly for ... read more »
