I stayed in the Hotel Shelter for six months in 2002-2003. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The bar downstairs has a dark seedy atmosphere which I like..
There was an awful smell occasionally from the water pipes, but it didn't crop up too often.

I stayed at Shelter for one month. In hindsight, I rate my experience excellent. The staff and managers are very friendly and helpful, they tried to solve any problem I had.
