Hotel is right next to the river. The balconies get the winter sun and one can simply laze a better part of the day sitting and soaking the sun and the fantastic valley view. and the manager, Jitendra Thakur, is friendly and ever helpful. His brother runs a trekking firm and they can arrange short (& long) treks from Rakcham including all the camping gear necessary. The restaurant is wonderfully located with amazing views. 1200 Nice clean rooms with balconies facing the Baspa river. The balconies are the best part..

I stayed here for 2 days and loved every minute of it.
Hotel is situated in a terrific location.
One side is the valley with Baspa flowing through it and on the other side Kinnaur Kailash ranges.
From the balcony/room one can spend hours just by watching the valley and flowing Baspa. If lucky will get to see snow capped ... read more »
