This KSTDC hotel is near Kamalapuram area and not really in Hampi so it is a bit far away from the main sites but can be easily reached by cycle or autorickshaw available for hire from the hotel. The rates were pretty cheap for the non airconditioned rooms but the airconditioned rooms were a bit expensive as there is no guarantee of the electricity and the generators do not run the airconditioners when the power goes off!!! There is a nice restaurant that serves good Indian as well as some western cuisine and it is pretty cheap too. The rooms are spacious but not so clean as one would expect them to be. The food is good and they even make some dishes to suit your palate. Hot showers, attached bath with western toilets, Telephone, TV, restaurant with basic bar, room service, bicycle hire, souvenir & gift shop, etc. Hotel Mayura Bhuvaneshwari, Kamalapuram, Hampi. Nice place away from all civilisation deep in the forest land (well almost!!!) and approachable to Hampi with a cycle or autorickshaw. Nice place but could be better with the condition of the rooms and service too.
