Third floor of old building with elevator. Clean, quiet & comfortable, great value. Brilliant location. Basic accommodation with simple breakfast. Nice helpful staff and owners. Off Kalkashru Dubash Marg, near Prince of Wales Museum & TGIF restaurant-same street as Trishna's seafood restaurant. Basic rooms with shared hot shower/toilet. Good beds. The Hotel Lawerence is a famous hotel in South Bombay. Its right off of Kala Ghoda on the side street behind Bhodi Gallery and then up a couple flights of stairs. I was traveling alone and the only room available was a triple, for which I paid 550. Rooms are very basic but fairly clean - the bed linen was very clean. They won't store luggage longterm but they let me leave mine for a day. ... read more »
