The home of Babu, an Udaipur resident and his English partner Carol, it has three large guestrooms with newly constructed bathrooms. Spotlessly clean, nice decorating, fantastic views of lake, City Palace, Lake Palace and Aravelli mountains. A large garden fronts onto the Lake, located in Chandpol area only 10 mins.walk to Lal Ghat and City Palace. Quiet location yet close to market. Room rates range from 500 to 1500 rupees depending on size of room - one is very large like a suite room

Lovely place, lovely stay - all I can do is echo everything above.. Carol and Babu are also building a new guesthouse over the road which looks like it will be really lovely, although probably not as 'homey'. Carol, Babu and gorgeous Alfie the dog have made us feel so welcome and we have stayed much longer than intended. Babu picked us up from the bus station very early in the morning and Carol made us the best breakfast we've had in a long time. This little known guesthouse is a gem of a find! The dining area which is shared with Carol and Babu features an enormous table with fantastic views through double wooden doors overlooking the lake.
