Since our last visits this hotel has changed its target clientele to cater for more Indian tourists and short stay back packer type travellers.

This is the Sterling to avoid. The rooms are the smallest of all the Sterlings I have stayed in and they come free with a funny unidentifiable smell. During check-in, you will be brusquely told "No credit cards." Of course, the staff are helpful and do point out where the nearest ATMs are.
