Small hotel with 8 guest rooms, each with its own individual character. Responsive to email and airport pickup very welcome. Although on the expensive side, it was worth staying, especially as first-time travelers to India. Room was quite clean and breakfast simple but good and plentiful. Complimentary tea/coffee as desired was a nice touch. Staff was friendly. Room was relatively quiet (for India). Offered very expensive rates for local transportation, better just to get an auto-rickshaw in the street. There were a few ants in the room; not a major problem but it looked like they hadn't cleaned under the beds in a while. Hot water not unlimited (have to wait for heater to heat the water). a/c, hot shower, cable tv, telephone, room service, refrigerator, breakfast included, complimentary tea/coffee, free airport pickup

Happy times at Bajaj

My sister, brother in law and I stayed at Bajaj Indian Homestay for a few days in Feb of this year {2011}. Our pick up at Delhi Airport went as planned. We were delivered to Bajaj early in the morning on arrival day. And I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute... well, nearly every minute. I was woken through the night once ... read more »

We've stayed in various places in New Deli at least a dozen times but this was our first foray into Karol Bagh. I must agree with all the negative comments. We booked months in advance & they suddenly said we couldn't stay there right before we arrived--wanted to shift us to another hotel. We were furious & they "found" a ... read more »
First impressions of New Delhi started here

We stayed here in 2006, and as a first impression of New Delhi and India in general, we couldn't have asked for a worse experiance. We found the staff unhelpful at the best, and we have been loathe to think they were trying to rip us off, but reading these reviews has made me change my mind. Even by India standards these people ... read more »
Bajaj Homestay is not a place you...
by SeahawkSteve on Dec 22, 2006.   Rating:
Bajaj Homestay is not a place you should consider when looking into places to stay. They are liars, cheats and rip you off at any cost! If you book a room ahead of time (no matter how far), they guarantee you that you will have that room. However, once you arrive, they suddenly claim that they never make this promise and sometimes ... read more »
Keep looking in Karol Bagh

Keep looking in Karol Bagh.... Agree with mdchachi's review...though I would not stay at this place again. Thought there were likely better values for the price elsewhere. I definately would stay in the Karol Bagh neighborhood again though: which was a great part of town for being a bit quieter, fun shopping, good restaurants, ... read more »
